“Whilst the pictures and description might depict a 4 star hotel, the Hotel Penzance Promenade is definitely not a 4 star hotel. It is poorly maintained and dirty with untrained staff. On arrival we were greeted by someone who hardly spoke English and just said "sign please" and handed us a piece of paper with our details on. We were then shown to our room door, advised of breakfast times and he left. Our room had a broken pane of glass in one of the windows, which showed signs of being……

“The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. ”

“Het was een heerlijk appartement met alle benodigde voorzieningen. Er waren de nodige lampen kapot maar we hadden daar geen last van. De eerste dag was alles in de masterbedroom klam (vloer, bed, wc-papier, enz) de volgende dag niet meer.”

“Excellent apartment located right by the beach and train station, beautiful views across st ives and so quiet and peaceful, you can hear the waves on the beach at night. Nice touches from the hosts, towels, bedding, and all kitchen bits you would need ready on arrival. Would come again 100%. Thank you ♥️”
